Ensure the solar input voltage is at least 3V higher than the battery voltage, and the total input power is within the controller's range. If the input power is too low, the charging current may be close to zero when the controller is in floating charge mode, and the charging indicator may turn on and off intermittently, which is a normal phenomenon on cloudy days or in the evening.

The controller should not be installed in direct sunlight to avoid power loss due to overheating, and sufficient space should be left around the device for heat dissipation. All connections to and from the controller should be tight, and the positive and negative battery terminals should never be allowed to touch each other.
